Mike Monahan Honored by Young Lawyers Division

Mike Monahan, Director of the State Bar Pro Bono Project, was honored with the "Award of Excellence for Dedication to the YLD" for 2010, at a dinner hosted by the State Bar Younger Lawyers Division at its Annual Meeting in Amelia Island, FL. Mike was honored for his work with the YLD supporting Disaster Legal Services to victims of floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes, and for his collaboration on a variety of technology projects. Mike's work with the YLD has drawn new volunteers to represent low-income clients, expanding access to justice across the state of Georgia.
