Volunteer to provide free tax assistance for low-income families

The Valdosta Regional Office of Georgia Legal Services Program is coordinating free income tax assistance for low-income households in the Valdosta region.   GLSP's partners include the United Way, Coastal Plain Area EOA, Inc., Second Harvest of South Georgia, and Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, Inc.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is staffed by trained volunteers.  Volunteer tax preparation will be provided in Lowndes, Echols, Pierce, Tift, Brooks, Berrien and Lanier Counties.  Become a volunteer today!   Email your interest to Jataryia Thomas, GLSP Pro Bono Coordinator,  at: jthomas.valdosta@glsp.org .
