Corporate Pro Bono, a national partnership project of ACC and the Pro Bono Institute, is now accepting nominations for the 2009 CPBO Pro Bono Partner Award, which will recognize innovative team approaches to pro bono work involving law firms and in-house legal departments. Recipients of the award may comprise a two-way (i.e., one legal department with one law firm or a public interest group) or three-way (e.g., a legal department, a law firm, and a public interest group) partnership. The award will be presented in November at the Pro Bono Institute Annual Gala in New York City. Past awardees have included The Williams Companies, Inc.,3M Company, Microsoft Corporation, and Abbott Laboratories.
