Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program is currently accepting applications for summer law clerk positions.

Philadelphia VIP is dedicated to providing low-income Philadelphians equal access to the legal system in civil matters by referring them to volunteer lawyers.

VIP's cases usually fall into one of the following categories: consumer litigation, family law, homeownership, guardianship, estate planning, immigration, landlord-tenant, non-profit organizations, small business, tax, and tort defense.

VIP is hiring two summer law clerks: one clerk will assist with LawWorks, their community economic development project (homeownership, nonprofit, small business clients), and one law clerk will assist on all other VIP matters (consumer litigation, family law, guardianship, estate planning, immigration, landlord-tenant and tort defense.)
