Legal aid law firms periodically organize "free" (or low-cost) CLE's sessions and/or community education seminars. Private attorneys are invited to be presenters at these events. The NC State Bar typically provides 6 hours of CLE credit to presenters who prepare and present a topic for 60 minutes.
The key to this type of pro bono service is to contact your local legal aid law firm and volunteer for the types of presentations for which you might consider providing pro bono service.
