The pro bono work of Raleigh attorney W. Brodie Burwell, Jr. (of Pinna Johnston & Burwell, PA) stopped the IRS efforts to collect $90K in back taxes from a 68-year-old, legally blind lady. Since the IRS was taking half her monthly pension check to collect this debt, there has been a substantial improvement in her quality of life.

This case was "jump-started" by volunteer retired accountant Bill Higgins, who organized and analyzed the client's massive amount of paperwork.
