"ADVANCING JUSTICE, RESTORING HOPE" ANNUAL CAMPAIGN:
SUPERSEDED INITIAL CAMPAIGN EXPECTATIONS

The Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project (MVLP) would like to say thank you for all of the donors' commitment to the “Advancing Justice, Restoring Hope” annual fund campaign for 2011. Your participation supports the longevity of MVLP and ensures access to justice for subjugated individuals in the state.  MVLP’s 2011 fundraising campaign officially ended on February 17, 2012, although additional donations have come in after the deadline.  Over 100 generous donors, including individuals, law firms, and organizations, helped MVLP to raise an astounding $85,071, which is $10,071 over the fundraising goal.  This year’s campaign was co-chaired by Former Mississippi Bar President Joy Lambert Phillips and Immediate Past General Counsel La’Verne Edney.  Board member Stephen W.
