Client requests assistance with obtaining minor guardianship of her 8-year old grandson. Client is the paternal grandmother. The child's parents were never married and client states both will consent to guardianship. The child has lived with her intermittently since birth and consistently for the last 6 months. There is an existing child support order in place through DHS.
