ABA's 2008 Frances Perkins Public Service Award
The Pro Bono Project's Employment Law/Wage Claim Program is the recipient of the 2008 Frances Perkins Public Service Award, issued by the Pro Bono Committee of the ABA's Section of Labor and Employment Law (LEL).
Pro Bono Project Executive Director Rachel Piercey and Board member William Lurye, Esq. accepted the award at the ABA's LEL Section CLE Conference in Denver on Thursday, September 11, 2008. Special acknowledgement goes to TPBP's staff attorney Vanessa Spinazola and to program sponsors Oxfam America, the ABA's LEL and others.
