Louisiana Supreme Court Justice Bernette Joshua Johnson celebrated her investiture as Chief Justice today in a public ceremony which took place on the steps of the Louisiana Supreme Court. She is the 25th chief justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court and the first African-American chief justice of the court since its establishment in 1813.
