We need YOUR help!
The United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area and the New Orleans Kids Partnership is hosting the "Solutions Summit" (our local version of a high school dropout summit). It will be on January 28th, from 12:30-3:30pm.
We really need diverse professionals to speak 1:1 or 1:2 with our high school students about their own career paths, choices and educational experiences. Anything you all can do to reach out to your colleagues and friends, would be fantastic. We hope to attract a wide variety of industry professionals, but we need your help, to reach out to your networks.
Please use the attached flyer (below) to distribute to your networks. And feel free to sign up as a speaker, yourself (we'd love to have you!). Here's the online registration form.
Please assist if you can. In addition to staff, you may have people on your boards who would be willing to help.
Thanks!
