Effectively illustrating and explaining the impact of discrimination and building relationships with all stakeholders is essential in your fair housing work. The presentation will include an in depth discussion of strategies to enhance your organization's fair housing education and outreach efforts to your local community, the media, law enforcement and business trade associations. Examples of using demographics and mapping tools to illustrate segregation, how to code a map, and the impact of such illustrations on viewers, readers, journalists, the housing industry, potential jurors and judges, will be covered.
