About the Presenter:
Jeannette Keller's background, in addition to prior and current positions in private practice, includes twenty years of experience representing clients on veteran's issues for Iowa Legal Aid. She was the first, and for a long time the only, attorney in Iowa licensed to practice before the Court of Veterans Appeals. Jeannette wrote a series of booklets for client education: VA Benefits: Steps in the Process from Applications to Appeals; VA Pensions When Disabilities May Not Be Related to Military Service ;and Veterans Affairs Benefits: Overpayments, Waivers and Compromises. Jeannette is also author of the Iowa Legal Aid Volunteer Lawyers Project Practice Manual section on Veterans' Benefits.
