Iowa Legal Aid

Iowa Legal Aid is a not-for-profit statewide organization providing free civil legal services to low-income people from nine offices throughout the state of Iowa. Help Through Education and the Law Project, Inc. (HELP)

HELP is a not-for-profit organization providing civil legal services to people who are low-income and reside in Scott or Clinton County. HELP is a subgrantee of Iowa Legal Aid and follows many of the same eligibility and service guidelines.

Volunteer Lawyers Programs

Three volunteer lawyers programs in Iowa serve low-income people in civil matters. Attorneys who are actively participating in their local Volunteer Lawyer program are encouraged to join Pro Bono Net/Iowa and submit content they think will be beneficial to the community of volunteer attorneys serving the legal needs of Iowa's low-income residents.
