E-filing and the post-recession legal landscape will be among the topics addressed by Pro Bono Net staff during workshops at the National Legal Aid & Defender Association’s Centennial Conference, taking place Dec. 7-10 in Washington, D.C.
With courts increasingly turning to technology to address growing caseloads in an era of decreasing budgets, e-filing is a noteworthy topic. Mark O’Brien will join speakers from the Legal Services Corporation, Legal Aid Society of Orange County, N.J. Bankruptcy Court and the Self-Represented Litigation Network on Saturday morning to discuss e-filing issues, developments, lessons learned, and suggested best practices.
