Do you have a law degree that you are not using? Would you like to do pro bono legal work but don't know how to get started? Are you looking for a meaningful pro bono opportunity? Come to an informational brown-bag meeting of the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project on Wednesday, January 22, 2013 at 12 pm - 1:30 pm at the K&L Gates Offices, 1601 K St NW, Washington, DC 20006.

DCVLP provides training, mentoring and support to lawyers interested in representing children as custody guardians ad litem, and representing victims of domestic violence in civil protection order, divorce and custody cases. No prior experience is necessary; DC Bar membership not required; malpractice insurance provided.
