"Perspectives on Poverty Law from the Bench"
WCL invites interns working at public interest organizations this summer to hear judges from DC Superior Court speak about the impact poverty has on the cases they hear every day. Associate Judges Todd Edelman and Jennifer DiToro will answer questions about being a judge in a courthouse with a significant number of pro se litigants, and the impact public interest and pro bono attorneys can have on the access to justice.
Bring your lunch and learn along with summer interns from other public interest organization around DC!
