Troutman Sanders and its pro bono partner Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) are hosting a panel discussion and cocktail reception on the critical needs of unaccompanied children and the difference a volunteer lawyer can make. Panelists will also discuss how the government can support pro bono efforts to ensure that no child appears in immigration court alone.

The panelists: The Honorable Rosemary Barkett, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit; Juan P. Osuna, Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Department of Justice; Sarah Hartnett, Deputy Chief, Enforcement Law Division, Department of Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Andrew I. Schoenholtz, Deputy Director, Institute for the Study of International Migration, Visiting Professor of Law, Georgetown University Law Center (invited); and Robert E. Juceam, Of Counsel, Fried Frank. Wallace Christensen, Partner, Troutman Sanders, will moderate the panel.

Please RSVP to Teresa Gutierrez, tgutierrez@supportkind.org by October 27, 5pm.
