The Alabama State Bar fall admission ceremony is being held on Wednesday, October 28  of National Pro Bono Week. Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb will be sending a letter of welcome to each of the bar's new admittees into the legal profession. In this letter Chief Justice Cobb also encourages each new member to join the Volunteer Lawyers Program now and to become increasingly active as their career progresses. To show her enthusiasm and participation to those who participate, Chief Justice Cobb will host eight members of the admission class, selected by raffle, from those registered for the Volunteer Lawyers Program at or before the admission ceremony. The admittees’ private dinner will be held later this fall.
