To celebrate ABA Pro Bono Week, Mental Health Advocacy Services, Inc. (MHAS) is hosting two free one-hour MCLE trainings over lunch at its offices at 3255 Wilshire Boulevard #902, Los Angeles, CA 90010. MHAS is a nonprofit law firm that provides direct legal services to adults and children with mental health disabilities. It has projects in special education, government benefits, fair housing and access to mental health services.
To foster participation in its pro bono SSI appeals project, MHAS offers a training on October 23, 2012, at 12 noon.
A second training on special education law and advocacy will be held on October 25, 2012 at 12 noon.
