Volunteer lawyers will provide brief, one-on-one consultations on a variety of civil legal issues -- including divorce, custody, child support, wills, advance directives, consumer debt, bankruptcy, record expungements, government benefits, housing, foreclosure, landlord/tenant, and issues related to community and nonprofit organizations -- at the fifth Pro Bono Day, hosted by the Bar Association of Baltimore City. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at Maryland Legal Aid, 500 E. Lexington Street in downtown Baltimore, on Saturday, October 29, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Registration is not required. Please bring any relevant documents with you.
