On October 26, 2011, the Chief Justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court will announce the launch of the Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program. This program was recommended by the Maine Justice Action Group, Maine's access to justice commission, as a way for the State of Maine to honor the generosity of Maine's attorneys who donate countless pro bono hours and provide financial support for legal aid to indigent Mainers.
