Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb has sent a letter of welcome to each of the bar's new admittees encouraging them to join the VLP and to become increasingly active as their career progresses. To show her enthusiasm and participation to those who participate, Chief Justice Cobb will host a private dinner for eight members of the admission class, selected by raffle, from those registered for the Volunteer Lawyers Program at or before the admission ceremony.
