Our celebration will begin with a symposium for pro bono providers to discuss strategic and effective ways to utilize pro bono resources. A lunch-hour MCLE program which is open to all existing pro bono volunteers in Alameda County will provide valuable insights on working with low-income clients. The lunchtime panel program will feature panelists Judge Gordon Baranco, Superior Court of California, County of Alameda, Christina A. Varner, Legal Advice Line Advocate, Bay Area Legal Aid, and Jonathan M. Wong, Donahue Gallagher Woods LLP, and VLSC Volunteer. Lunch will be generously underwritten by the Alameda County Bar Association. We will close with an informal networking session and social.

Schedule:

9:30-11:30am: Provider Meeting,

11:30am-1:15pm: Working with Low-Income Clients Panel Discussion 1 hour Ethics MCLE credit available for lunch program;

1:15pm-2pm Informal Networking

This event is free and includes one hour of ethics MCLE credit for the lunch program. Space is limited-Advance registration for both the provider meeting and lunch MCLE is required to hold your space.
