The Immigration Advocates Network invites you to join a free webinar, "Mental Health and Capacity in Immigration Court." This webinar will provide an overview of mental health and capacity issues in immigration court. The panel will discuss the law; working with clients; court process; the attorney's role and responsibilities; sample scenarios, working with health care professionals; resources, and more. The panelists are Christine Lin, Clinical Instructor and Staff Attorney at the Center for Gender & Refugee Studies, UC Hastings; Krishma Parsad, Senior Staff Attorney, Immigration Justice Project, American Bar Association; Heidi Altman, Legal Director, CAIR Coalition; and Dr. Joseph Gorin, Clinical and Neuropsychologist.
