The Practising Law Institute is offering a free one-hour audio briefing entitled Remedies for Victims of Human Trafficking, on July 9, 2013, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Eastern.

The newly reauthorized Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPRA) is the cornerstone of federal anti-trafficking law. This legislation provides a variety of remedies for victims and survivors of human trafficking, including providing immigration status as a form of humanitarian relief.

AALDEF, founded in 1974, is a national organization that protects and promotes the civil rights of Asian Americans. By combining litigation, advocacy, education, and organizing, AALDEF works with Asian American communities across the country to secure human rights for all.
