Doug Ammar, Director of the Georgia Justice Project, uses the film Groundhog Day , a comedy about a man forced to relive one day over and over again, as a launching point to discuss the potential for personal and relational transformation through public engagement and service to the poor. Given their unique position of service and power, lawyers can capitalize on the potential for transformation for both the client AND the attorney.
This presentation was informative and inspiring, calling upon us to embrace the finest traditions of our profession. Doug Ammar combines humor and passion in a very effective way. --Jack Hardin, Rogers & Hardin
