This webinar series consists of three one-hour trainings on fair housing law. It is designed for attorneys and advocates who are not fair housing specialists. The trainers will discuss fair housing implications at all stages of the tenancy - at application and admission, during the tenancy, and at lease termination or eviction court. Trainers will provide attorneys and advocates with additional legal theories when working with clients trying to access housing, clients having issues while living in rental housing, and clients who are being evicted.

Trainers: Lael Robertson, Staff Attorney - Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis' Housing Discrimination Law Project and Laura Jelinek, Supervising Attorney - Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services' Housing Equality Law Project.

The series will be held on three consecutive Fridays: April 9th, 16th and 23rd.

This webinar series is open to legal aid and volunteer attorneys only.

  • CLE Credit Comments: 1 hour of "standard" CLE credit for each webinar in the series will be applied for.
