"Ethical Issues in Pro Bono Representation" will examine the most common issues of ethics and professional responsibility through the prism of pro bono/public interest law practice. Within the context of pro bono representation, this program will review issues concerning:

Who is the client?
Client misconduct
Confidentiality, conflicts of interest and privilege
Dealing with pro se adversaries and other third parties
Client counseling: Decision-making responsibility, including representing clients with diminished capacity
