This three-day conference will highlight promising practices and emerging issues in the rapidly evolving international movement toward Family Justice Centers and other approaches to co-located, multidisciplinary services for victims of family violence and their children.
Presentations will include issues related to the handling of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and elder abuse cases in the context of the Family Justice Center model. The conference welcomes law enforcement personnel, prosecutors, shelter staff, community-based victim advocates, civil attorneys, judges, policy makers, elected officials, survivors, parole and probation officers, rape crisis workers, medical personnel, educators, and all others interested in the future of the family violence movement in America and around the world. There will be an opportunity to tour the Anaheim Family Justice Center.
