Learn about or get an update on the basics of the two main cash assistance programs in Massachusetts: TAFDC (Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children)—the main cash assistance program for families, and EAEDC (Emergency Aid to Elders, Disabled and Children)—the cash assistance program for elders and disabled and a few children.

This course is part of the MA Law Reform Institute's Basic Public Benefits Advocacy Training Series, a series of nine trainings for legal and community advocates who assist low- and moderate-income individuals and families.
