On Wednesday, October 22, 2008, the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project will be sponsoring a CLE training, which will address legal issues relevant to microentrepreneurs in starting or operating a small business. Speakers from various law firms will offer insight on the following topics: business structure and tax consequences; commercial real estate leasing; and intellectual property basics.

This CLE training is free of charge with the understanding that registrants agree to provide pro bono representation on one client matter or participate in three presentations or clinics through the City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project within one year of the training date. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in registrant being charged the full cost of training and materials. Space is limited.

Please contact Marissa Seko at mseko@nycbar.org or (212) 382-6633 to register for this CLE training.

  • CLE Credit Comments: CLE Credit is available. This training provides transitional credit for newly admitted attorneys.
