Matrimonial Law Practice — Part I Presented By: Mary L. Dlabola, Special Referee Matrimonial Part Bronx Supreme Court & Rhonda J. Panken, Esq., Supervising Attorney inMotion, Inc./Bronx 

In this two-part training, attorneys will be trained to represent inMotion clients in divorce proceedings. Procedural and substantive aspects will be discussed in detail. A training manual and sample documents will be provided.

An uncontested or a litigated divorce case will be assigned at the training or shortly thereafter. Attorneys can work on the case individually or as part of a team of two or more attorneys. Assigned pro bono uncontested divorce cases will not require court appearances; judgment is granted following the submission of the appropriate documents. Assigned litigated divorce cases will require at least one court appearance. Part I issues to be addressed will include: drafting of both initial and final papers and service of process issues, and will include an interactive question and answer session to address issues that may arise in individual cases.

Prerequisites:  You must attend Part I and Part II of this series. Attendees of Parts I and II of the Summer Matrimonial Law Practice Series will receive a total of 5 CLE credits
