The ABA Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services is seeking nominations for the 2007 Louis M. Brown Award for Legal Access. The Award recognizes programs and projects that have made innovative and/or substantial contributions toward meeting the legal needs of people with moderate incomes.

The Delivery Committee is particularly interested in honoring programs that advance innovative notions such as preventive law, pro se support and unbundled legal services.

Details about the Award and the nomination process are online at http://www.abanet.org/legalservices/delivery/brownnomination.html.

Note the Committee encourages self-nomination. The entry deadline for the 2006 Award is December 13, 2006.

The Award recipient and those receiving meritorious recognition will be honored at the ABA Midyear Meeting in Miami on February 9, 2007. In addition, all suitable entries are listed in the Committee's annual publication, Profiles of Moderate Income Delivery Programs.
