Legal Aid Society of Orange County, in conjunction, with the University of California-Irvine Law School, are presenting a Symposium, No Program Left Behind: The Aftermath of the California Budget Crisis in Orange County, scheduled for October 27, 2009 at the University Club, UC Irvine, CA. The purpose of the event is to discuss the California budget crisis, the ensuing recession, and its effect on Orange County and develop strategies to meet the needs of the community.
The Symposium will encompass the following topics for discussion: Health, Housing, Education, Government Benefits, and Social Service Networks. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as well as a Keynote Address from Dean Erwin Chemerinsky of UCI Law School.
