The MSBA Bankruptcy Section sponsors this statewide project with the District of Minnesota Bankruptcy Court. The project focuses primarily on representing indigent defendants in adversary proceedings. As it is able, the Project may also provide representation in other matters that might otherwise be pro se. Defendants in adversary proceedings receive a notice from the Court informing them about the Project, which is administered by the Volunteer Lawyers Network in Minneapolis under the supervision of a Section steering committee. proceedings with a volunteer attorney for advice and/or representation.
